Authors retain the copyright of their published work. By submitting and publishing their manuscript in Navkosh Journal, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish, distribute, archive, and promote the work in both electronic and print formats.Authors are responsible for ensuring that all materials included in their manuscripts (such as figures, tables, images, and datasets) do not infringe upon the copyright or intellectual property rights of third parties.
Licensing
Unless otherwise stated, all articles published in Navkosh Journal are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License.
This license permits anyone to:
- Share, copy, and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
- Adapt, remix, transform, and build upon the work for any purpose, including commercial use.
Under the following condition:
- Appropriate credit must be given to the original author(s) and the journal.
- A link to the Creative Commons license must be provided.
- Any modifications made must be clearly indicated.
Author Responsibilities
Authors confirm that:
- The submitted manuscript is original.
- The manuscript has not been published previously.
- The manuscript is not under consideration elsewhere.
- Necessary permissions have been obtained for copyrighted material.
Third-Party Material
If any third-party material is included in an article, the author is solely responsible for obtaining written permission from the copyright holder before submission.
Plagiarism Policy
Navkosh Journal maintains a strict policy against plagiarism and academic misconduct.
All submitted manuscripts are screened for originality before being considered for peer review.
Definition
Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:
- Copying text without proper citation.
- Using another person’s ideas without acknowledgement.
- Self-plagiarism or duplicate publication.
- Data fabrication or falsification.
- Image manipulation intended to mislead readers.
- Unauthorized use of tables, figures, or illustrations.
Similarity Check
The journal may use plagiarism detection software to evaluate submitted manuscripts.
Acceptable Similarity
- Overall similarity should generally not exceed 15%.
- Similarity from a single source should generally remain below 5%, excluding references, quotations, and standard methodological descriptions where appropriate.
Editorial discretion may be applied based on the nature and context of the overlap.
Editorial Action
If plagiarism is identified:
- Before review: the manuscript may be rejected immediately.
- During peer review: the review process may be suspended until clarification is received.
- After publication: the article may be corrected, retracted, or removed from the journal record, depending on the severity of the misconduct.
Serious cases may also be reported to the authors’ affiliated institutions where appropriate.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy
Navkosh Journal recognizes the growing role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in scholarly research while emphasizing transparency, accountability, and academic integrity.
Acceptable Use of AI
Authors may use AI-assisted technologies for:
- Language editing
- Grammar correction
- Improving readability
- Translation assistance
- Code assistance
- Data organization
Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of all submitted content.
Disclosure Requirement
If AI tools have been used in preparing the manuscript, authors must disclose this in a dedicated “AI Use Statement” before the References section.
Example:
AI Use Statement: The authors used ChatGPT (OpenAI) solely for language refinement and grammar improvement. All scientific content, interpretation, analysis, and conclusions were developed and verified by the authors.
Prohibited Uses
AI tools must not be used to:
- Generate fabricated data.
- Create false citations or references.
- Manipulate research findings.
- Produce fraudulent images or figures.
- Generate fake peer reviews.
- Misrepresent authorship.
Authorship
Artificial Intelligence tools cannot be listed as authors because they cannot:
- Take responsibility for the work.
- Approve the final manuscript.
- Meet accepted criteria for authorship.
- Accept accountability for published research.
Only human contributors who meet authorship criteria may be listed as authors.
Editorial Use of AI
Editors and reviewers may use AI-assisted tools for language support or administrative purposes but must not upload confidential manuscript content to public AI systems in a way that compromises author confidentiality.

This policy may be revised periodically to reflect developments in AI technologies, publishing standards, and best practices.
